How Linestech collects, uses and protects personal data, and the rights you have over it.
1. Who we are
Linestech Solutions ("Linestech", "we", "us") is a cloud engineering, app development and website design company based in Lagos, Nigeria. This policy explains what personal data we collect through this website and our services, why we collect it, how we protect it and the rights you have over it.
We process personal data in line with the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023 (NDPA), the Nigeria Data Protection Regulation (NDPR) and, where they apply, the UK and EU General Data Protection Regulations.
2. What we collect
Contact details you give us through our forms or by email: name, email address, phone number, company name and job title.
Project information you share with us: budgets, timelines, requirements, documents and files you upload.
Usage data collected automatically when you visit the site: pages viewed, approximate location, device and browser type, referring pages and cookie identifiers (see Cookies below).
Communications: messages you send us through the site, WhatsApp, email or booking tools, and notes from calls and meetings.
3. How we use it
To respond to enquiries, prepare proposals and deliver the services you ask for.
To manage projects, contracts, invoices and support after launch.
To improve the website and our services, using aggregated analytics.
To send you information about our services where you have asked for it or where we have a legitimate interest in keeping an existing client informed. You can opt out at any time.
To meet legal and regulatory obligations, including tax and accounting rules.
4. Legal bases
We rely on the performance of a contract (or steps taken at your request before a contract), our legitimate interests in running and promoting our business, your consent where we ask for it, and compliance with legal obligations.
5. Sharing and processors
We do not sell personal data. We share it only with service providers who help us run the business and who are bound by contracts to protect it: cloud hosting providers (Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud, Microsoft Azure), email and calendar tools, analytics providers, payment providers, and professional advisers. Where a provider is outside Nigeria we make sure appropriate safeguards are in place.
We may disclose data where the law requires it or to protect our rights, our clients or the public.
6. Cookies and analytics
This site uses strictly necessary cookies to work, and analytics cookies (for example Google Analytics) to understand how the site is used. Analytics data is aggregated and does not identify you directly. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the site will still work, although some features may be limited.
7. Security
We protect personal data with encryption in transit and at rest, access controls, monitoring and regular security reviews, applying the same standards we use for client platforms. No system is perfectly secure; if a breach affects your data we will notify you and the regulator as the law requires.
8. Retention
We keep enquiry and project data for as long as we work together and for a reasonable period afterwards to handle questions, support and legal obligations, typically no longer than six years after the last activity, unless the law requires otherwise. Analytics data is kept in aggregated form.
9. Your rights
You can ask us to access, correct, delete or restrict the personal data we hold about you, object to certain processing, ask for a copy in a portable format, and withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. Email info@linestech.com.ng and we will respond within 30 days. You also have the right to complain to the Nigeria Data Protection Commission (NDPC).
10. Children
Our services are for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has given us data, contact us and we will delete it.
11. Changes and contact
