Working with Linestech
Where is Linestech based and who do you work with?
We are based in Lagos, Nigeria and work with startups, scale-ups and enterprises across Nigeria, Africa, the UK and the US. Most engagements are delivered remotely with regular on-site sessions where it helps.
How do we start a project?
Fill in the start-a-project form or book a discovery call. We come back within one business day, agree the scope and pricing model, and start with a discovery phase.
Do you sign NDAs?
Yes. Every project form is covered by a non-disclosure agreement and we are happy to sign yours before any detailed conversation.
Do you work with our existing engineering team?
Always. We work inside your workflow, document everything we build and hand over ownership; we are not trying to lock you in.
What does support look like after a project?
Every project includes a post-launch support period (30 days to 6 months depending on the package), after which you can move to a monthly DevOps as a Service or maintenance retainer.
Cloud engineering & DevOps
Which cloud providers do you support?
Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud and Microsoft Azure primarily, plus DigitalOcean and on-premise or hybrid environments. We are vendor-neutral and recommend the platform that fits your workload and budget.
What is DevOps as a Service?
A monthly retainer that gives you a dedicated DevOps or SRE team for CI/CD, infrastructure automation, container platforms, monitoring and on-call support, without hiring in-house.
Can you migrate us to the cloud without downtime?
Yes. We rehearse migrations in a staging environment, replicate data continuously and cut over in a planned window with a tested rollback plan.
How much can cloud cost optimisation save?
Most clients save 25 to 40 percent within the first quarter through right-sizing, scheduling, storage tiering and committed-use discounts.
What is your incident response time?
On-duty engineers respond to monitoring alerts and tickets within five minutes on our SRE plans, with escalation paths and post-incident reviews as standard.
Do you help with security and compliance?
We implement technical controls (identity, secrets, scanning, logging) and produce the evidence auditors ask for. Formal certification is scoped separately with your compliance partner.
App development
How much does it cost to build an app?
Our app packages are ₦3,000,000 (Basic), ₦5,000,000 (Premium) and ₦10,000,000 (Business), each a one-off payment for a 2-week delivery. Screens are unlimited in every package; the price is driven by product complexity, AI and payment scope, integrations, support and post-launch growth.
How much does a website cost?
Website packages are ₦1,000,000 (Basic business website), ₦3,000,000 (Premium, e-commerce and growth) and ₦5,000,000 (Business, web platforms and enterprise), each a one-off payment for a 2-week delivery with unlimited pages, hosting setup and post-launch support included.
How long does it take?
Two weeks for every app package. Planning, design, development and testing run in parallel with a dedicated team, so Basic, Premium and Business apps all go from kick-off to the App Store and Google Play in 2 weeks. Larger scopes are split into two-week releases. Cloud audits take 2–3 weeks.
Do I get iOS, Android and web?
Yes. Every package includes an iOS app, an Android app and a web application sharing one backend, plus deployment to the App Store, Google Play and the web.
Who owns the code?
You do. Apps are published under your own developer accounts and you receive the full source code, designs and documentation at hand-over.
Which payment providers can you integrate?
Paystack, Flutterwave, Stripe, Apple Pay and Google Pay, including subscriptions, refunds and reconciliation, depending on your package.
Pricing & payment
How do you price cloud engineering work?
Three ways: a one-off audit, a monthly DevOps as a Service retainer, or a scoped enterprise engagement. Small ad-hoc tasks are billed hourly.
What is not included in app package prices?
Payment gateway fees, third-party API and AI usage fees, app store developer accounts and compliance certification. These are billed separately or scoped as add-ons.
What are the payment terms?
Fixed-price projects are split into milestone payments starting with a deposit; retainers are billed monthly in advance. We invoice in naira and can invoice in USD or GBP for international clients.
Can we change scope during a project?
Yes. Changes are agreed in writing with their cost and timeline impact before work continues, so there are no surprises on the invoice.
